How to play

You have 7 letter tiles in your hand, and 43 in the bag. Make valid Scrabble words out of your hand by clicking the letters and submitting the word for points. (2-letter minimum words).

Submitted words are checked against the Scrabble dictionary, so try different combinations, there are lots of valid words you may not be aware of. HINT: 'QI', 'XI' and 'ZA' are all valid words.

When you play a word your hand will be replenished with tiles from the bag. To WIN, use up ALL 50 letter tiles while scoring the highest point total possible.

Points:

• 2-letter word: 2pts
• 3-letter word: 3pts
• 4-letter word: 5pts
• 5-letter word: 7pts
• 6-letter word: 10pts
• All 7 letters: 15pts

Tips:

1. #1 Keep an eye on your 'Tiles in bag' count to plan your end-game strategy with the final few letters. Your goal is to use them all up.
2. #2 Use up difficult letters early (J, Q, X, Z) so you don't get stuck with them at the end.
3. #3 Try to leave yourself enough vowels at the end to finish the game completely.
4. #4 If you get stuck, use the Deal New Hand button to get 7 new random letters from the bag.
5. #5 Don't forget about 2-letter words, they come in handy in a pinch!
